This song is from the Twilight soundtrack, one of my favorites.
My favorite line 'Help me leave behind reasons to be missed.' I just pray that these reasons may come from God's love and be because of the love he has for me and all that he created. Knowing that because of him we will hopefully see each other one day in his awesome presence.

This song is just so brill, it brings out God's amazingness plus makes us think about what we can do with our lives to make them worthy of God. We need to stand apart from the norm and honor God with our lives. Which is not always the easiest thing to do, and we are told that it is not going to be easy, but in the long run so worht while. It all goes hand in hand trusting that God does know best and that he is more able than we are.

Next

We watched this movie just after the new year came in. Quite fitting as we tend to think about what the new year will bring in and try and guess what the future may bring. This movie is all about a guy who can see at least two and a half mins into the future. It shows how unpredictable the future actually is and no matter how hard we may try we will never truly know how it is going to go. The only person that knows how our lives are going to pan out is God. He has watch over us and this year i'm just going to try and release control over to him fully.

Today is just such a great day of blessings, it has just been so special. Being able to see the ways that God works in us and helps through journeys of emotions. Just being able to pray with people about stuff is amazing. I am not the best prayer in the world and to be honest to pray in front of people, about people is scary, especially as I think I might pray the wrong thing. But really its all about trust in God, not what those around us are thinking. Its so great when people are honest about what they are going through, and I think that we are not like this enough. How do we expect to grow if we aren't honest, though there are times when things shouldn't be said.
Also something else that came up was about families and christian families. Our families accept through the good and the bad, are honest with us and accepting of us, and quick to point out when we are wrong, and joyful with us when we go through exciting stuff. Surely we should be like this with our Christian families and not hold them at arms length, especially as there are those whose blood families aren't christians so have a different view on things (not necessarily a bad thing). Though it maybe hard it is definitely something to think on!!!

Friends

So I was out with a mate tonight and we got onto the subject of friends and what they are, and how sometimes we grow apart and just have to accept that we have to move on. Yet as all relationships they are going to need a little bit of hardwork, and honesty which is half of what being a friend is all about. It's not about having constant contact but being able to pick up where you left of even after a month or two. We all have that close circle of friends that we see regularly and then the ones that are close but not quite so regular in our lives, then the not quite so close. Anyway just a few thoughts!!
